Project Management

Attend the management meetings and go on site surveys with clients to understand project scope of works.

Prepare quotation for upgrading projects, shutdown, and maintenance works.

Once awarded the shutdown & maintenance jobs, conduct internal meeting with the site team to explain job scopes and understand work requirements.

Do the schedule plan for each activity and execute the job within schedule and budget as planned.

Arrange cranes, lorry cranes, hydraulic torqueing team, and NDE contractors for shutdown work support.

Split job scopes and assign to individual sub-contractors (Civil, Mech/Piping, E&I, Rotating Equipment, Hydro Jetting).

Supervise and implement the works according to the schedule and requirements.

Monitor, review, and approve all claims, purchasing, manpower, and material arrangements.

Safety Management

Ensuring all safety rules and safe work procedures are followed by themselves and others working in and around the machinery.

All injuries and near misses are reported and followed up on in a timely manner.

Actively participate in accident/incident investigations.

Housekeeping standards and expectations are maintained.

Provide leadership and active participation in team safety meetings, discussions, and training opportunities.

Follow all safety procedures such as Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, PPE, etc.

Lead and/or participate in crew discussions before major events (e.g., down days), emphasizing job hazard analyses.

Ensure crew has adequate supply of required safety equipment.

Act as First Responder as trained and required.

Mechanical Works

Plant routine maintenance and execution on a daily basis as planned.

Perform all maintenance activities online while the plant is running.

In case of Plant or Gasifier trips, find root cause and resolve immediately to resume plant operations.

ASU unit steam turbine and compressor unit maintenance and service.

Cold box maintenance and LOX pump service and installation works.

CO2 compressor unit maintenance and repair works.

Whole plant heat exchangers choke clearing and hydro jet cleaning, hydro test, and reinstatement.

All columns tray replacement and visual inspection; conduct NDT activities if required.

Vessels and steam drums repair, visual/NDT inspections, hydro testing, and reinstatement.

Arrange necessary manpower and materials to arrest leaks found in the plant.

Perform online piping modifications and valve replacements as requested by OPS.

Conduct visual inspection of flange joints and bolt tightening with OPS approval.

Rotating Equipment

Pumps and motor installation.

Alignment works.

Overhauling.

Coupling and shaft alignment repair, service, and installation.

Monitor operating temperature and vibration and record data.

Perform preventive maintenance activities to support continuous plant operation.

Lubricant oil top-up and temperature monitoring.

Analyzer Works

Commission, maintain, and operate process analyzers.

Provide timely status updates for all equipment at analyzer shelters/houses.

Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance work for all analyzer equipment.

Develop calibration and maintenance procedures; contribute to continuous improvement.

Handle and operate GC, mass spectrometer, instant analyzer, area detector, pH & conductivity meter.

Maintain proper job records in the SAP application.

Participate in mechanical projects and plant modification work.

Electrical & Instrumentation Works

Ensure quality of work and troubleshoot to resolve equipment problems during operations.

Commissioning, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of all field instruments.

Improve plant instrumentation reliability by enhancing PM programs and replacing obsolete equipment.

Calibrate DP wet leg level transmitters.

Install and test control valves, on-off valves, and motor-operated valves (MOV).

Replace, calibrate, and troubleshoot valve SMART positioners.

Conduct preventive maintenance on all electrical instrumentation devices.

Troubleshoot and install temperature, flow, pressure, and level transmitters.

Support production with all control, electrical, and instrumentation issues.

Report instrument status and action plans to the maintenance department.

Maintain and troubleshoot LV, MV, and HV motors, transformers, and breakers.

Maintain and troubleshoot chiller unit controllers and VSDs.

Inspect power cables, UPS, DCS, SCADA, batteries, and rack rooms.

Rack-in and rack-out breakers and safely perform electrical tasks per standards.

Recognize malfunctions in individual equipment and perform necessary maintenance.
